Paint and Glazed
Doors:
These are interior doors made from MDF (particle board). They
have been painted and glazed to look like real wood. If you would like a quote from us, please
don't hesitate to ask. You can call us at the shop or use the
email form located on the
contact page.
Custom Cherry
Library:
This custom library was done for Elias Brothers Homes and was
located in the Grey Oaks Development. The library was finished
on-site to assure perfect color matching. Although it is much
more difficult to finish a job on-site, the rewards of doing so
are also very good. The library was first pre-sealed with two
coats of lacquer sanding sealer. It was then stained twice, once
with cherry stain and once with nutmeg, with a seal coat after
each one. Finally, the cabinets were top coated with two coats
of lacquer pre-cat. I'd say this job came out very nice, and the
home owners loved it. If you would like a quote from us, please
don't hesitate to ask. You can call us at the shop or use the
email form located on the
contact page.
Custom Entertainment Center:
This custom entertainment center was made for R & S Custom
Cabinets. The wood is solid maple for the cabinet doors and
trim. The cabinet boxes were made of high quality maple plywood.
The finish was a nutmeg stain, pre-sealed once, followed by a
dead flat clear coat. You can see form the pictures, the
cabinets really added life to this old room.
Faux Finished Doors:
These doors were faux finished to
look like mahogany. The door itself
was actually made of MDF Particle
board. First we painted the doors
with a color that is similar to that
of mahogany wood's base tone. Then,
we had to tape off the doors and dry
brush each part of the door a
certain direction. For example, we
did the three pieces of the door
that are in a left to right
direction first. After they are
sealed, we remove the tape and then
dry brush the two long pieces of the
door that move up and down. After
the entire door is done being
stained, we gave it three topcoats.
Each door received at least four
colors of stain. The job turned out
very nice.
Custom Cherry Library:
This
library was done for the Potter
residence located in Marco Island,
Florida. Although the title says
"cherry library", the wood is
actually maple. The Potters wanted
to save some money and buy maple
because of the high prices of cherry
lumber. But he still wanted to have
a cherry look, so we tried to
accommodate for him.
